Configured Platforms provide the following options applied to the underside of the stytem bearers that come in contact with the roof or surface they are placed on. These products are manufactured to Configured Platforms specification and are supplied adhered to the underside or the relevant parts.
1) NEOPREEN SCHUIMRUBBER TAPE
This is a medium density neoprene foam rubber tape that is designed to compress and provide traction to the roof material without adhering. The default thickness is 6mm and it provides a dissimilar metals barrier and has excellent vibration absorption. It also provides an acoustic and thermal barrier between the system framing and the surface it is placed onto. The tape is also waterproof and when fixed through it provides a weatherproof seal where required. Note: This tape is not an alternative for where AV mounts are required with a specific static deflection requirement for a machine
APPLICATION: For shallow pitch roofs 5⁰ or less where the size of the platform and its surrounds and/or the weight of the plant and equipment on the platform do not pose a wind resistance threat to the platforms stability. .
VOORDELEN: Deze tape is het gemakkelijkst om mee te werken omdat het platform niet aan het dak vastzit, zodat het kan worden verplaatst of gecorrigeerd voordat het wordt belast. Bovendien heeft deze tape de beste eigenschappen om oneffenheden in het dakvlak op te vangen.
2) VHB Foamband
Dit is een zeer sterke VHB-schuimtape van 40 mm breed en 2 mm dik, met een verwijderbare achterkant om het platform op het dakoppervlak te kleven. Deze tape biedt een onovertroffen hechting (≥ 45N/25mm) en treksterkte (≥ 55N/25cm²). Het is een barrière voor ongelijke metalen en heeft een goede trillings- en akoestische absorptie.
TOEPASSING: Voor steilere daken met een helling van 6⁰ of meer en waar de afmetingen van het platform en de omgeving en/of het gewicht van de installatie en de uitrusting op het platform een bedreiging vormen voor de stabiliteit van het platform door de windweerstand.
VOORDELEN: Deze tape biedt gemoedsrust dat het platform permanent aan het dakoppervlak is bevestigd. Let op: zodra de backing tape is verwijderd en de liggers in contact zijn gekomen met het dakoppervlak, zullen zij onmiddellijk permanent zijn vastgelijmd en kunnen niet meer worden losgetrokken - wees dus voorzichtig bij het plaatsen van de delen tijdens de installatie.
